Now, since X-mass is to know when the next best time to buy a flat screen TV? Superbowl or immediately after X-mass?

The best season is between Christmas and the Super Bowl for two reasons:

1) The stores are trying to get rid of their inventory and new models.

2) Super Bowl is one of the largest annual events for television. They have awesome deals, like the introduction of a DVD player, TiVo or TV stand. Packages for television and home theater systems.

If you get $ 500 - $ 1000 from the retail price, you get a good price. After 6 months the prices $ 500 - $ 1000 have declined. LCD and plasma prices on average fell from about $ 100 per month.

Well, if you are buying for the Super Bowl, I'm sure you can find some sweet cases, one or two weeks ago. So my suggestion would be, until then wait. If you have a good after Christmas can be found, you can fix them.

Shortly after New Year would be a good idea. The price to go that far anyway. I've heard in the fall of 30% of the price will be, but I'm not sure.
